Ordering the Lightning Virtual Card
Client banks can order Lightning Virtual Cards using our card ordering website in a similar way to how Gift, Access, and Incentive cards are ordered. The step-by-step guide below will assist you with placing your orders for Lightning Virtual Cards.
Ordering
Lightning Virtual Cards can be purchased using the instructions below.
1. Navigate to the card ordering website.
2. Type in your email address for a secure sign-in link.
3. Check your email address for sign-in link and click it.
4. Once you are signed-in to the ordering website click "Start Shopping".
5. Find the Lightning Virtual Card, and click on it.
6. Download the sample file where it says "DownloadSampleFile" under the Product Details section.
7. Open the downloaded sample file and enter in the first name, last name, email address and amount fields for each recipient. Once you are finished upload the file to your order using the "Add Files..." button.
8. Click "Add to Checkout". Like with other bulk loaded card orders, you will send the load funds to us via ACH. When the load funds arrive, we will email a Lightning Virtual Card to each of the listed recipients.

No. Lightning virtual cards are not authorized for cash access (ATM) or money transfer services such as Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. Funds on your Lightning virtual card cannot be transferred or deposited to a bank account. The Lightning virtual card can be used for purchases only.
